Look closely enough, and even the sharpest thing turns soft.
A pixel begins square, exact, sure of its edges. This one has forgotten all of that. Enlarged and set on the floor, it becomes low, rounded, and almost creaturely — as though the smallest part of the picture had slipped free of the grid.
Somewhere along the way, the picture came alive.
