We only collect what we need to do business with you.
When you place an order, we collect the details required to complete and support the sale: your name, contact information, billing and shipping addresses, and a record of what you purchased. We keep this to fulfil the order, arrange delivery, honour the guarantee, and meet our tax and accounting obligations.
When you contact us — by email, an inquiry form, or a trade application — we keep what you send so we can respond and, where relevant, work with you on a commission or a trade relationship.
When you subscribe to our newsletter, we record the email address you give us and your subscription preferences, so we can send you what you’ve asked for and nothing you haven’t.

Objects & Ideas Inc. is based in Canada, but some of our service providers operate in other countries — for example, the United States. Where that is the case, your information may be stored or processed outside Canada and may be subject to the laws of the country where the provider operates. We work with providers that maintain appropriate safeguards for the information they handle.
